Shipping and Insurance Policies.

 

Please note that KBeauty.us is not responsible for any lost, stolen, damaged, refused, unclaimed, or undeliverable packages; therefore, we will not issue refunds, exchanges, or replacements in such scenarios. However, if you face any delivery issues, you can contact us, and we will try our best to resolve it with the shipping company on your behalf.

 

For smooth delivery, please ensure that the shipping address you provide at checkout is accurate, complete, and valid. If the package is returned to us due to an incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable address, you may be charged additional fees for re-delivery. In case you request a refund, please note that any costs incurred during the transit (such as original shipping cost, package return shipping costs, applicable taxes, and applicable duties) will be deducted from the refund amount.

 

If the package is delivered to a community mailbox in hot or cold temperatures, please collect it immediately to avoid damage to the items. KBeauty.us will not be responsible for any damage due to weather or temperature-related complications.

 

If the package is held at the nearest post office for pick-up, please ensure that you collect it promptly as per the instructions on the delivery notice card. Unclaimed packages returned to us may be subject to additional fees if you request re-delivery. If you request a refund, please note that the refund amount will be deducted by the original shipping cost and the package return shipping cost.

 

Please note that KBeauty.us is not responsible for customs duties, fees, taxes, and brokerage fees associated with packages shipped outside of Canada.

 

Please note that the delivery times listed are estimates only and may vary due to holidays, customs clearance, extreme weather, natural disasters, postal strikes, and unforeseen circumstances. While we will do our best to help with any shipping delays, we cannot be responsible for packages delivered outside the estimated time frame.

 

For large quantity orders, you may receive some items separately, and on different dates, although we try our best to minimize this issue by packaging all items together.

Failed or Unclaimed Delivery

 

Incorrect Address Entries:

If you enter an incorrect shipping address and the items are returned by the shipping company, we will issue a refund for the cost of the items. However, the original shipping charges will not be refunded. To prevent any potential issues, please verify your address during checkout. If you discover an error after placing your order, contact us right away at hello@KBeauty.us so we can try to resolve the issue before dispatch.

Delivery Confirmation:

At KBeauty, we depend on the tracking system of the shipping company to verify if a package has been delivered to the intended address. 

If the tracking shows that your package has been delivered, but you assert that it hasn't been received, we will consider the package successfully delivered. 

In these instances, KBeauty will not be liable for refunds or reshipments. 

Before contacting us about missing packages, we highly suggest:

- Checking with neighbors, family, or other residents.

- Looking at all conceivable delivery locations around your home.

- Investigating parcel lockers or any designated package receiving areas.

- Searching for a key or notice in your mailbox that may point to the package being in a larger mailbox compartment, or that it has been stored at a local delivery location.

Delivery Confirmation:
Once a package is marked as "Delivered" by the carrier, the delivery is considered complete, and ownership of the package is transferred to the recipient at that time.
The "Delivered" status may appear in the carrier's tracking system and will serve as proof of delivery.

Liability Limitations:
KBeauty.us will not be held responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to the package once it has been confirmed as delivered by the carrier. This includes, but is not limited to, instances where the package is lost, stolen, or damaged after the delivery confirmation.

Recipient Responsibilities:

    1. It is the recipient's responsibility to ensure that someone is available to receive and secure the package upon delivery.
    2. We recommend providing a secure delivery location (e.g., a porch, mailbox, or a delivery locker) or utilizing delivery instructions to ensure safe receipt.
    3. Reporting Missing Packages:
      If a package is marked as delivered but not received, recipients should immediately contact the carrier to investigate the issue. If needed, KBeauty.us can assist with contacting the carrier, but the resolution will be handled by the carrier.

Claims and Refunds:
Claims related to theft, loss, or damage of a package after delivery confirmation must be directed to the carrier. KBeauty.us does not provide refunds or replacements for items marked as delivered.

Customer Protection:
Customers are encouraged to use tracking services, delivery instructions, or request signature confirmation where available to ensure safe receipt of their items.

 Customs Tax

 

- Customers are fully responsible for any customs related issues, such as Customs Taxes, Import Taxes, value-added Taxes, etc.

- Customers are required to pay charges such as customs fees, service fees, administration fees, warehousing fee related to customs.

- Customs issues vary by country, so customers need to contact the local customs office for detailed information to avoid potential problems.



Hazardous Goods

 

Each country has a different policy on Hazardous product issues. StyleKorean is not responsible for informing of this information, and so customers need to contact the local customs office to check if the product is hazardous or not.



Customs Payment Refusal

 

We are not responsible for packages refused by customs, despite any reason, including refusal to pay tax, banned importing items, and any other customs-related issues. When the refused package is returned to KBeauty.us or disposed of, we are not responsible for shipping it out again.

Cancellation of order

If the package hasn't shipped and is still at our facility, the order can be cancelled and a full refund issued. However, if the package has already left our facility and is in transit, the order cannot be cancelled.  

To cancel an order in transit, the package must be sent back to us at the client’s expense. Once we receive the package, we will carefully examine the products and initiate the refund process if the package is unopened and in new condition. Please note that a 15% restocking fee and our shipping fee will apply when we process the refund.

Shipping Insurance Claim Policy – Theft

Policy Statement:
In the event of a theft during shipping, the following steps must be followed to initiate a claim under our shipping insurance policy:

  1. Report the Theft Immediately:
    The claimant must notify the shipping company and KBeauty.us when the theft is discovered. Prompt notification will help in processing the claim efficiently.
  2. File a Police Report:
    A police report detailing the theft must be filed with the relevant local law enforcement agency. The report should include all pertinent details, such as the date of the incident, a description of the goods stolen, and any available evidence.
  3. Submit a Theft Affidavit:
    In addition to the police report, the claimant must submit a signed affidavit attesting to the theft. The affidavit should include:
    • A detailed description of the stolen items
    • Date and time of discovery of the theft
    • Any steps taken to mitigate or report the incident promptly
    • The form will be provided to claimant to be signed.
  4. Provide Supporting Documentation:
    The claimant must provide any additional documentation for the claim assessment, as requested by KBeauty.us.
  5. Investigation and Resolution:
    Upon receipt of the necessary documentation, KBeauty.us will investigate to validate the claim. Claims that meet all requirements and are supported by verifiable evidence will be eligible for reimbursement in accordance with the policy terms, including the delivery policy.
  6. Claims Review:
    Claims will be reviewed in a timely manner. Any discrepancies, missing information, or fraudulent claims may result in the denial of coverage.

Conclusion:
To ensure that claims for theft during shipping are processed smoothly and fairly, all required documentation, including a police report and an affidavit, must be submitted within the timeframe outlined in the shipping insurance policy. Failing to meet these requirements may result in delays or denial of the claim.
